I’m Trisha, also known around the internet as SaucyFinlander where honestly, the beginning of most good stories with me usually starts with:

I have a question.

That question might turn into a painting, a goat project, a duck situation, a natural health rabbit hole, a livestream conversation, a blog post, or an entire life detour I did not technically plan for but somehow ended up managing anyway.

Welcome to my little corner of the internet.

This site is where I’m pulling together the pieces of my life that don’t fit neatly into one box: my art, my critters, my homestead chaos, my natural health interests, my livestream world, my stories, and whatever I’m learning along the way.

The Art

I paint because sometimes feelings need somewhere to go. My art is emotional, bold, imperfect, expressive, and usually tied to something deeper than “this looks pretty.” I’m drawn to eyes, animals, symbolism, darkness, softness, strength, pain, healing, and the kind of beauty that has been through something.

The Critters

Around here, the animals are not background characters. They are the plot. Goats, ducks, chickens, ducklings, farm life, weird little animal friendships, surprise problems, and the daily reminder that critters do not care about your schedule.

Natural Health

I’ve always been drawn to natural health, herbs, teas, food, and the ways people try to support their bodies with what they have. I’m not here pretending to be a doctor, and nothing on this site is medical advice. This is a learning-along-with-me space.

Livestreams & Real Conversation

Livestreaming gave me a place to talk, laugh, connect, create, and show up as myself. I like real conversation. Funny conversation. Deep conversation. The kind where people come in for one topic and somehow we end up talking about life, music, parenting, painting, goats, business, confidence, or why the day has already gone sideways before noon.

Why This Site Exists

This site is my home base. Not the polished version of me. The real one. The one who paints. The one who overthinks. The one who loves critters. The one who asks questions. The one who keeps learning. The one who believes life can be messy and meaningful at the same time.
